Down Da Hatch Pub & Grill is the vision of Scott Moore, who combined forces with AJ Flateau of Outback Smoke Shack & Brewhouse in Welaka to bring family, friends and fun together to enjoy delicious foods, a variety of drinks and entertainment.
Harry & Johanna Sharpe were the original owners of the property that is now Down Da Hatch Pub & Grill. The original structure was demolished following a fire, but was rebuilt soon after. Other businesses have been located at the site including another flower shop, Belle’s Bistro, The Blind Mosquito, and Mystic Bistro. The Sharpes also owned the two adjacent properties alongside Central Avenue, which are now a home and two-story office and retail space.
